Why a car with a driver

Parque Warner Madrid from Ciudad Real

The province's places to visit — natural parks, castles, Almagro — are almost all off the bus routes or have very few services. A car with a driver lets you set the return time instead of depending on the last bus.

How to get there from each area

Ciudad Real y el Campo de Calatrava
From Ciudad Real the road to Madrid is the A-41 to Puerto Lápice and then the A-4, which enters Madrid from the south. For Barajas the route continues on the M-40 or M-50 without crossing the centre. Malagón lies on the road to Toledo, the other way out to the north.
Daimiel y el entorno de las Tablas
From Daimiel the usual route heads to Manzanares or Ciudad Real to join the A-4 or the A-41; Villarrubia de los Ojos has easier access to the A-4 to the north, near Puerto Lápice.
Puertollano y el valle de Alcudia
From Puertollano to Madrid the route is the A-41 to Ciudad Real and on to the A-4 at Puerto Lápice. By road it is a long trip; for Barajas it is worth leaving early, because the A-4 entry into Madrid is the part that varies most with the time of day.
La Mancha de Alcázar y Tomelloso
From Alcázar and Tomelloso the way out is the Autovía de los Viñedos (CM-42) to the A-4 at Madridejos, or north through Quintanar de la Orden to join the N-301 and the AP-36. Socuéllamos and Campo de Criptana pick one or the other depending on the time and the traffic at Madrid's southern entry.
Valdepeñas, Manzanares y La Solana
Valdepeñas and Manzanares sit on the A-4, which runs straight up to Madrid via Puerto Lápice, Madridejos and Ocaña; La Solana joins it at Manzanares. Beyond Ocaña, the R-4 toll road is the alternative when the A-4 is busy on the way to Barajas.
