Routes and fares from Ciudad Real

415 routes with road-distance daytime weekday fares, VAT included. The price is fixed when you confirm.

Within the province of Ciudad Real

Ciudad Real is one of the largest provinces in Spain and its towns are far apart: going from Puertollano to Alcázar de San Juan means crossing half the province. Trains link some pairs well but not all, and buses between the main towns are scarce. The most requested internal trips are from the towns to the high-speed stations of Ciudad Real and Puertollano and to each area's hospital.

To Madrid: airport, stations, hospitals and trade fairs

From Ciudad Real the road to Madrid is the A-41 to Puerto Lápice and then the A-4, which enters Madrid from the south. For Barajas the route continues on the M-40 or M-50 without crossing the centre. Malagón lies on the road to Toledo, the other way out to the north.

To other provinces

To the south, the A-4 crosses Despeñaperros towards Jaén and Córdoba, and the AVE runs to Andalusia from Ciudad Real and Puertollano. To the north, the N-401 climbs to Toledo through the Montes; to the east, Albacete and Cuenca are reached by road across La Mancha, with no convenient direct train from the capital.
